Hi, I'm
Simone Risi
I am an Italian photographer, art director, and visual artist based in Bologna, working internationally across brands, editorial projects, and contemporary art. I build refined visual identities through photography, strategic art direction, and an authorial approach to image-making. I am the founder and CEO of Gea Vision, a company operating across art, design, and media production, and the founder of Joyful Riot, a streetwear brand centered on creative freedom and digital sovereignty. My works have been exhibited internationally, consolidating a practice that moves across photography, visual art, fashion culture, curatorship, and creative direction.

I approach photography as visual strategy. My practice centers on building distinctive brand identities, atmosphere, and compelling imagery through refined art direction. This methodology positions me to contribute not only as a photographer, but as a creative director shaping visual language and brand positioning for luxury clients.
Every project begins with understanding brand essence. I develop distinctive aesthetic languages, color palettes, compositional strategies, mood frameworks, that communicate brand vision with precision and authority across all imagery.
